		abstract={Pregnancy, childbirth and being a mother is an outstanding experience is very important in the life of a woman. This event force women to greet the pregnancy with joy, while few others face anxiety, fear and sadness. This study was aimed at finding out the differences of the anxiety levels among primigravida and multigravida mothers in the third trimester facing childbirth at Obstetric Clinic at RK Charitas hospital. This study used observational analytical method with cross sectional design. There were 39 primigravida mothers and 37 multigravida mothers at the third trimester were taken as sample by using purposive sampling technique. The result of the study showed that the Pvalue was 0.003 < ? 0.05 and indicated that there was a significant difference between the level of anxiety between primigravida and multigravida mothers in the third trimester in facing childbirth. Expected for medical personnel for more attention to psychological condition of mothers who give birth.}
