		abstract={Independent is the ability or the condition where the human people can to manage, and surpass her self importance without dependent on other people.  The purpose of this experiments is knows the faktors that in connection with independent of old human at panti werdha dharma bakti Km 7 Palembang 2015. This experiments has done at juni, 24 th ? 25 th 2015. This exsperiments is the analysis survey with the projecting cross sectional. Taking the sample in this experiment uses the total sampling ways. For the sample are the old human at panti werdha dharma bakti Km 7 Palembang, There are thirty audience the anaysis data the use  in this experiment are Univariat and Bivariat analise. The result of univariat experiment is that the man 14 (46,7%) and the women 16 (53,3%), Health 5 (16,7%) dan sick 25 (83%), Knowledge 22 (73,3%) enough 8 (26,7%) less 0 (0%), Indevendent 22 (73,3%) and dependent 8 (26,6%) The result pf statistic test is there are significance connection between the sexs ( p value = 0,002), painful ( p value 0,027) , and there is not connection between knowledge (p value = 0,197) with the independent for the old human it is to be hoped that the panti werdha dharma bakti Km 7 palembang could more care about, and more increase the  healthy desing so the old human always health and cannot get the painful.}
