		abstract={The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of performance audits, financial statement presentation, the accessibility of the financial statements for public accountability. This research was conducted at the regional work units Palembang. This study uses a quantitative approach, because the data used in the form of figures. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 102 from 27 government agencies. The test used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 17. The results showed that the variable performance audits a positive effect on public accountability, presentation of financial statements a positive effect on public accountability, accessibility of financial statements negatively affect public accountability.}
