		abstract={This study aims to determine whether there is a significant positive or negative influence between the internal locus of control and external locus of control on the performance of the sales marketing employees of the Palembang city leasing company. This study used 61 samples which were sales marketing from 5 leasing companies in Palembang city. Collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence between internal locus of control on employee performance and there is no negative and insignificant influence between external locus of control on employee performance.}
