		abstract={This paper aims to examine the effect of independence, professional skills, and work experience of internal auditors on the effectiveness of the internal control structure . The population in this study are all rural tires in the city of Palembang. Sample set by using convinince sampling. Samples were obtained in this study were a total of 12 rural banks spread across the city of Palembang .
Testing data using regression analysis techniques. The analysis finds independence, professional skills, and work experience of the internal auditor does not affect the effectiveness of the internal control structure .}
