A woman who is in the menopause period has symptoms such as an uneven menstrual period, hot flashes, becoming sweaty, as well as psychological changes. Those changes cause a woman to experience anxiety. One of the factors which influence anxiety is knowledge. Purpose: The research aims to identify the correlation between knowledge and anxiety levels of working mothers approaching the menopause period. Method: This research uses a cross-sectional correlation design. The sample consists of 35 respondents ranging from ages of 40-49 years old, gathered by using the total population sampling technique. The questionnaires consist of a questionnaire to investigate the knowledge aspect and a questionnaire to investigate the level of anxiety. This research was conducted in the senior high schools of Xaverius Palembang Foundation. Result: All of the respondents, ranging from ages of 40-49 years old with the respondents aged 42 and 49 as the most encountered, had a higher education background (91,4%), were mothers working as teachers, had a regular menstrual period (85,7%), and had experienced pregnancy for 1-2 times (48,6%). The result of p-value 0,02 showed that there was a correlation between the knowledge and the anxiety level of mothers. Suggestion: The research is expected to lay a foundation that it is important to educate a woman about the knowledge and the anxiety level during the menopause period.
