		abstract={The purpose of this research is to testify if political connection and business strategy haves influence toward tax avoidance . The population in this research are all mining sector companies listed on official website www.idx.co.id. The sample was determined using tthe Purposive Sampling method with a total sample of 9 companies with a span of 3 years (2017-2019) so the totally is 27 data. The data collection method used was documentary technique. From these sources obtained quantitative data in the form of annual reports issued by state-owned companies in 2017-2019. Hypothesis is tested using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of spss program version 26. The result of this research shows that political connection and business strategy have no influence towards tax avoidance.
