		abstract={This research was conducted to develop an android-based mathematics learning media design for second grade students at SD Xaverius 02 Palembang. This study adapts the research procedures of Borg and Gall. The results of this study are divided into two parts. The first part is the results of research related to needs analysis. Based on the results of the needs analysis which shows that the development of instructional media design to add insight to students learning independently at home is very much needed. The results of the second study relate to the validation of the development of learning media designs using Android. The development of android-based learning media design shows an average of 3.2 which is included in the good category. This means that the learning media developed by the researcher is included in the valid criteria. The validation test is carried out in one test, namely the validation test of experts in the field of information and communication technology.
