		abstract={The purpose of this study is to see and to test the direct effect of financial behaviour and demographic factors that are gender, age, education, and income on investment decisions. This study uses a model from the Prospect Theory. The population in this study are all Palembang City society and the number of samples are 108 respondents. The data analysis techniques used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the direct effects of financial behaviour variable and demographic factors variables (gender, age, education, and income) on investment decisions. The result showed that financial behaviour variable have a positive and significant effect on investment descision. While for demographic factors only age has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions.
