Online distance learning activities are an option that must be taken so that the learning process can continue. As a result, many of the university students had to re-adapt to this new learning method with all the obstacles, challenges, and difficulties they had to face. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a correlation between self-regulation patterns in learning and student motivation in online distance learning models. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with 51 respondents. This study uses a self-regulated learning scale and a learning motivation scale. The data analysis technique used is the product-moment correlation test. The results of this study indicate the significant correlation (p>0.005) between self-regulated learning and students' learning motivation during the distance learning period. The higher self-regulated learning makes the students' learning motivation also get higher. Keywords: self regulated learning, learning motivation, distance learning} }
