The study aims to find out what the potential limiting factor application of total quality service at a private high school in the city of Palembang. The population in this research are all deputy head of the high school in the city of Palembang. Sample collection techniques used is simple random sampling. Sample research that can be processed id 105 samples. Testing research using factor analisis with SPSS version17.00. The test result of this study indicate that there is a potential limiting factor in the applicationof total quality service at a private high school in the city of Palembang, that is internal barriers in schools comes from wokers and cultural factors, factors of infrastructure, and organizational factors.
