		abstract={The budget is part of management that has an important role to control a company, in this case the budget can affect the process of planning and supervision. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the effect of budgetary participation on budgetary slack and asymmetric information on budgetary slack. The method used is quantitative method. The population in this study is the middle and lower level managers at the food industry factory in Palembang. This study uses secondary data, sourced from data derived from the Company's Annual Promotion Fund Year Report 2011-2015. The result of this research concludes that partially budgetary participation has an effect on budgetary slack and there is no influence between asymmetry information with budgetary slack at food company in Palembang. Based on the result of the research shows that the motivation of work and training have an effect on the work performance, so that internal controls such as plans, methods, procedures, and policies designed by management to provide adequate assurance on the achievement of efficiency and operational effectiveness of the company.
