		abstract={This Study aims to examine the effect of profitability on firm value with investment opportunity set as an intervening variable . The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 - 2015. Samples determined by using purposive sampling method. The sample obtained were as much 86 companies .Testing the hypothesis using regression analysis mediation casual step method with the help of SPSS ver 21.0 . The test results showed that the hypothesis ( Ha ) which states that the positive effect on profitability of firm value to investment opportunity set as an intervening variable, received .
