Therefore, the existence of human resources or employees is an important element that must be considered and managed optimally in order to realize the company's vision and mission. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee retention. This research was conducted at PT. PLN ULP Gilimanuk Bali. At this company the number of employees who enter each year is not the same as the number of employees who leave, so there is an imbalance in the company's human resources. The population in this study are all employees at PT. PLN ULP Gilimanuk Bali with a total of 45 people, then using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study used a range of scales and multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are that the work environment has a significant effect on employee retention, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee retention, work environment and job satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on employee retention, and job satisfaction has a dominant effect on employee retention at PT. PLN ULP Gilimanuk Bali.} }
