		abstract={Profitability becomes a reference for investors in making decisions for
investment in a company. Therefore, the profitability of the enterprise is influenced by the ratio of working capital turnover, and financial leverage. Automotive companies are a sub-sector of companies that currently have an increasing demand for goods. But the reality on the ground of the company's profitability is not reflected according to the large demand. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the effect of working capital turnover, and financial leverage on the profitability of automotive sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2020. Associative research is a type of research used in this study. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial statements accessed through www.idx.co.id. The collected data were analyzed using correlation and regression analysis techniques. The results showed that working capital turnover has a positive effect on the profit and fitness of automotive sector companies on the IDX in 2018-2020 because
ideally the company's activities certainly require capital. Although this influence is not significant because working capital turnover only contributes 30.5% of the influence, while 69.5% is influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study. As for l financial leverage, it has a negative and significant effect on the company's profitability, because financial leverage is not an indicator of the company getting a greater profit, but only provides an opportunity to make a profit and shows that the company can fulfill all its financial obligations if it is liquidated.}
