Such conditions give rise to symptoms of psychological disorders which increase the number of internet access and smartphone use among adult. Methods: This research is descriptive with experimental design. The population in this study were adults aged 10-24 years with a total sample of 304 people. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to adults online. Results: From the number of research respondents who were 304 adults, 193 (63.5%) experienced very severe psychological disorders and 230 adults (75.7%) experienced smartphone addiction. Conclusion: The results of the Pearson chi-square test between psychological disorders and smartphone use obtained a calculated chi-square value of 31.972 with a significance value of 0.000. These results show a significance value of less than 0.05 (sig <0.05) so that it is stated that there is a significant relationship between psychological disorders and smartphone use.} }
