This study is talked about how online speaking learning in an English speaking course was conducted and the student?s perception when they learn English speaking in an online context. The purpose of this study is to make a preparation for the teacher when they teach in an online context in order to make the learning online process has a better quality. The research method used in this study is qualitative method with an observation and interview technique focusing on student?s experiences when they learn online speaking.
This study found that online class in Kampunginggris.co was like a normal class in offline context in the way that they divided students into several groups & the teacher explained about the material. The class was conducted in an hour, with 15 students and 1 female teacher. The research result that has been carried out through interview indicates that the students in Kampunginggris.co generally enjoyed joining an online class. It was considered by the students to be flexible, affordable and it can make the students more confident rather than offline class. However, there are some problems that were usually faced by the students in online speaking learning such as technical problem and unsupported environment that disturbed the students in online learning processed.}
