Manifestations of Korean culture that spread to bring various forms of "K" one of which is K-Beauty. The phenomenon of Korean beauty raises evidence that the results of Korean skin care are skin like glass, flawless and has smooth, acne-free skin which can be a factor influencing someone to decide to use skincare products from South Korea. The skin care routine is often referred to as Korea's 10 step skin care program. The expectations of the Indonesian people for Skin Care products from South Korea are very high; such as skin being whiter than the general skin of the Indonesian people to be glowing and healthy and radiant. Hyperreality is a phenomenon in which many unreal artificial realities are compared to reality. The impact of hyperreality is that public belief in this reality can lead to cultural patterns that are easy to imitate. The purpose of this study was to find out how hyperreality in Korean skin care products occurred in Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science, University of Muhammadiyah Malang students. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data related to this study were obtained by observing and interviewing 6 selected subjects using purposive sampling. The theory used in this study is the theory of hyperreality by Jean Baudrillard. Baudrillard describes this world as hyperreality, i.e. media is no longer a mirror of reality but becomes real or even more real than its original reality, which is subordinated and eventually completely destroyed. Hyperreality in today's media can be said to be the fabrication of meaning from a mass media that arises due to the impact of technological developments which are currently developing. The results of this study are technological developments that shape media construction so that it can change the standardization of one's appearance. Social media provides all information about skincare products to be used as a lifestyle reference for Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science, University of Muhammadiyah Malang students. They not only buy skincare products but also buy trends to make themselves look more attractive. This can cause them to lose their identity due to past and present changes. So that the main function of consuming skincare products which should serve as a primary need for nourishing the skin becomes a function of fulfilling sociological needs.} }
