		abstract={This research is entitled Conflict Between The Montagues and The Capulets in Shakespeare?s Romeo and Juliet. The purpose of this research is to reveal a conflict between the Montagues and the Capulets, and also the impact after the conflict for all characters which shows in a conversation. Descriptive qualitative is the method which applied in this research, and through objective approach methodology. Based on Nurgiantoro?s (2015:181) theory, conflict in this research classified in to two parts: (1) External, such as social and physical conflict, (2) Internal, such as psychological or self conflict. The author also finds several kinds of impact after the quarrel based on Setiadi and Kolip?s (2010:377) such as a stronger solidarity between groups, alteration social norm, personality changing, until fell a victim}
