		abstract={Typhoid fever or often called abdominal typhus fever, is an acute infectious disease of the digestive tract (intestines) that has the potential to become a multi-systemic disease caused by salmonella typhi. Typhoid fever is fever, headache, nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, and sometimes accompanied by diarrhea. Fever can last more than 1 week and in older children is often accompanied by constipation. this has a big impact on parents such as excessive anxiety when a child has a fever. this is also supported by the lack of knowledge of parents when the child is sick. the method in this study is direct observation and interviews with children and parents who experience excessive anxiety in children with typhoid fever. The results of this study found that there was a relationship between parents' anxiety levels and the incidence of typhoid fever in children. Suggestions As input and information for nurses, nurses are expected to can apply the action of providing health education to reduce parental anxiety in children with typhoid.}
