		abstract={Patients with impaired self-concept: low self-esteem tend to have negative feelingsabout themselves so that patients tend to feel insecure, feel useless and feel they always fail in achieving their desires. Positive ability training therapy is carried out to explore the positive aspects possessed by the patient, so that the patient has a feeling that he is useful and able to become a better individual. Positive ability training therapy is part of the generalist therapy for HDR. This case study uses a case study with a nursing care process approach. The sample used in the case study was a patient with impaired self-concept: low self-esteem, amounting to 1 person. The case study was conducted in the working area of the Cibitung Health Center on April 26 2023-01 May 2023. Data collection tools included assessment, Sorensen self-esteem questionnaire sheets, and patient activity schedule sheets. The results of the case study show that the patient experiences self-esteem after positive ability training. Positive ability training can increase self-esteem in patients with impaired self-concept: low self-esteem.}
