Signs and symptoms that often appear in hypertension are headaches, ringing in the ears, palpitations, fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, and nosebleeds. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is classical music therapy. Classical music can affect heart rate and blood pressure depending on frequency, tempo and volume, the slower the music tempo, the slower the heart rate and blood pressure, so listen in a relaxed atmosphere. A slow heart rate also slows down breathing, which reduces physical strain. The classical music taken is a type of mozart. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of music therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The author provides classical music therapy using headphones for 15 minutes once a day for 3 days. The results of the application showed that after giving music therapy for 3 days, the blood pressure decreased from 170/100 to 130/80. The author concludes that the application of classical music therapy has an effect on reducing blood pressure in people with hypertension.} }
