A key approach to address diverse student needs is differentiation strategy, which consists of content, process, and product. This study examined the implementation of differentiated instruction in English language teaching at a junior high school in Tanah Bumbu, Indonesia. Using a narrative inquiry approach, data were gathered through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that differentiation in content, process, and product can be effectively practiced in a semi-rural context when supported by teacher commitment and institutional support. \r\nThe teacher adjusted content through tiered texts and visual aids, adapted process using flexible grouping and learning choices, and implemented product differentiation through varied assessment formats. \r\nThese practices were grounded in Tomlinson’s framework, Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory, and Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. Enabling factors include leadership support, colleague collaboration, and parental encouragement. However, barriers such as time constraints, large class sizes, and limited access to technology remain. This study concludes that systemic support, collaborative culture, and strong leadership are essential to scale and sustain differentiated teaching for equity and inclusion.\r\n\r\nKeywords: Differentiated Instruction, English Teaching, Junior High School, Tanah Bumbu, Inclusive Education} }
