abstract={This research aims to analyze potential bankruptcy rates of insurance companies registerd
on the Indonesian Stock Exchange using the Altmen Z-score model of the 2015-2016 period. This
research uses the single variable of bankruptcy prediction. Data analysis technique used is through
documentation. Results determined through the data resuts of the Altmen Z-score formula.
Calculated data results is then incorporated into the assessment criteria.
Calculated results of the Altmen Z-score model of insurance companies in 2015 did not
experience significant changes in 2016. Asuransi Aman Pratama Tbk in 2015 is place within the
?grey zone?, compared to being in the ?danger zone? in 2016. Panin Insurance Tbk fared better
financially in 2015 when they are placed within the ?danger zone?, and placed within the ?grey
zone? in 2016, according to the criteria of the Altmen Z-score model. Abu Lippo General Insurance
Tbk in 2015 and 2016 did not experience signficant changes, as they were place well within the
Altmen Z-score model?s ?gray zone? in the two year period.}
