The objectives of this study were (1)To find out the student ability in writing narrative text thought with youtube audio video at SMAN 2 Pemalang(2)To find out the student ability in writing narrative text without youtube audio video at SMAN 2 Pemalang(3) To find out the significant difference of writing narrative text ability who are thought with and without youtube audio video The type of the research was quantitative. The research design applied by the writer was quasi-experimental. The population of this study was tenth grade which amounts to 330 students of SMA N 2 Pemalang. The writer took two classes as the sample of the research. The total sample were 72 students which were divided into two classes; there were X.2 as control group and X.1 as experimantal group. The instrument used test which consist of pre test and post test. The result of the research showed that (1) the students? ability in writing narrative text without using youtube video was adequate.It could be seen by the mean of test was 76,33. (2) the students? ability in writing narrative text using yutube video was good. It could be seen by the mean of test was 82,63. (3)there was significant difference of students? ability in writing narrative text without using youtube video and using youtube video. It could be seen the t-test score that is higher than t-table (3,23> 1,67). Thus, Ha ?There was sinificant difference of students? ability in writing narative text who are taught using youtube video was accepted and Ho that stated ? There was no significant difference of students? ability in writing narrative text who are taught using youtube video was rejected. Finally, it is suggested to the English teacher to use media such as youtube video to create the teaching learning process more interesting so that the students will be motivated to practice writing.} }
