The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the type of Figurative Language in the Bruno Mars? songs. (2) to find out the dominant type of Figurative Language used in analyzing Bruno Mars? songs. The researcher used descriptive qualitative. The goal of this research is to make it easier for students to understand figurative language by employing familiar English songs. To gather data, the researcher employed Bruno Mars' songs ?Grenade?, ?It Will Rain?, ?Talking to the Moon? and Count on Me, the researcher acts as an observer, data collector, and data analyst. Observation, by gathering the lyrics of each song, library research, listening to them on the internet, and then looking for figurative language words in each lyric by looking at the song's background. Moreover figurative language help students learn when they are learning English in a class by using songs, because when students learn through songs it makes it easier to understand English. Every song has a meaning and language whose purpose is to beautify when conveying massages and is then expressed with figurative language in the song.
