Speaking is one important skill of English to present opinion, idea, and convey our feeling to the other people, with speaking people can interact to each other. Based on my observation of teaching practicum in a vocational school, the students have less confidence in practicing English speaking. In addition to students' speaking problems, the teacher's media in the classroom also affects the teaching and learning process. The use of conventional media or traditional media is still found in the process of teaching speaking in the class. The study had been conducted on her research in improving students speaking skills by using media is Vlog.The purpose of this study are 1. To what extent student?s speaking ability taught without using video vlogs in procedure text? 2. To what extent student?s speaking ability taught using vlogs in procedure text? 3. Is there any significant difference between students speaking ability taught using vlog in procedure text and those taught without using vlogs in procedure text? 4. What are the problems faced by the students in using vlog? The design of this study is quasi- experimental. The data were gathered through quantitative and qualitative data. The writer takes XI AKL 2 as a control class and an XI AKL 1as experimental class. The research instrument is a test. There are two types of tests given, namely pre-test and post-test. After collecting data, there are significant differences between the classes taught using vlog and the classes taught without video vlog. The results of the study can be seen on the post-test after giving treatment. The mean of score pre test was 57.11 which classified into unsatisfactory and the mean of score post test was 70.67 which classified into good. The result of t test was 7.16 on the df=35 meanwhile,the value of t table ws got from df=35 so the t-table was 2.030. So the t test 7.165 is higher than t table 2.030. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in shows that students might feel not confident at some situations. Students were mostly not confident in speaking such as speak in front of class. They also worried about grammatical and pronunciation. Further, the participants respond that the students feel anxious when do not understand what the mean of some word in video vlog. Moreover, they thought that they feel anxious because they had limited vocabulary and grammar knowledge. They also felt difficult to pronounce some word and easy to forget how to pronounce it. It means that there was a significant difference between the students speaking skill taught using vlog.} }
