This reseach is based on a study which attemps to analyze the pronunciation
errors made by President Joko Widodo in video entitled Jokowi's Thanos Analogy
in Global Economy Condition. The purposes of this research were (1) to
investigate the pronunciation error in video entitled ?Jokowi?s ?Thanos? Analogy
in Global Economy Condition? and (2) to know the dominant pronunciation error
in video entitled ?Jokowi?s ?Thanos? Analogy in Global Economy Condition?. In
this research, the researcher used qualitative research method. The researcher did
some steps to analyze the data, that were:identifying, classifying/categorizing,
interpeting the data, and drawing the conclusion. The researcher identified
through the pronunciation errors and write down the phonetic symbol,
pronunciation errors in producing English vowel, dipthong, and consonant. The
result of this research is President Joko Widodo makes so many pronunciation
errors. There are 32 pronunciation errors in producing English consonants, 13 in
producing English dipthongs and 42 in English vowels. So, the one who
dominates the error pronunciation is vowel. There are 42 vowels error. The
contribution to learn English pronunciation is to teach how to produce correct
pronunciation, often invite communication or conversation using English, apply
learning to use multimedia such as listening English songs, watching videos or
films in English.}
