The objectives of the research are: 1) to analyze the types of illocutionary act found in The Walking Dead movie, 2) to find out the way illocutionary act realized in The Walking Dead movie, 3) to identify the feasibility of illocutionary acts in The Walking Dead movie in teaching English. The researcher used descriptive qualitative, that is a type of qualitative research. ?The Walking Dead season 2? movie is a primary object in this final project. The procedures: 1) watching the movie several times to gain the comprehensive understanding about the subject, 2) reading the script of that movie to find the types of illocutionary act, 3) finding out the other articles related to the issue in the internet and other resources, then 4) conducting the library research to provide a proper analysis. The result of this study were as follows: 1) the writer found assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative as the types of illocutionary act, 2) Based on the data in research finding, directive, is the dominant type of illocutionary act. The illocutionary acts are realized through ordering remarks because the movie is about surviving; there are characters who act as leader. That character is usually the one who gives orders, 3) the feasibility in teaching speaking are students are able to respond and handle on asking and giving personal background information appropriately, students are able to ask opinions, elicit and exchange factual information appropriately, students are able to express their intention well, students are able to express their improvement plans well, students are able to express agreement and disagreement correctly.
