Australia is one of the countries that is very active and sympathetic on a variety of international issues, including on disaster management and welfare issues. Australia and Indonesia have established cooperation in various sectors of life. AIFDR is inseparable from the weakness of the disaster management system in Indonesia which has been proven by several publications that have just formed a legal entity in disaster management that has a borderline below the President in 2008.
