		abstract={The purpose of this research is is to look objectively or no news,
written in Java Post newspaper about the proclamation redboXX discotheque
fire in Surabaya with the given period.
The research method is quantitative content analysis, with the analysis
used to assess the objectivity of news content redboXX discotheque fire in
Surabaya.
Coverage of news redboXX discotheque fire in Surabaya. The results
of the 14 news writers carefully, there are 5 news that has been included into
the objective category, and 9 are not included in the category of news
objectively, so the news redboXX discotheque fire in Surabaya are not
objective. Objectivity of news is of great importance in presenting a story. Not
an objective presentation of news can cause a lot of imbalance, which means
that the news only presented on the basis of information on news sources that
are less likely to complete and unilateral.
