		abstract={The purpose of the study was to determine how is communicated caricature magazine 
Tempo ? SEKONGKOL KAKAP NAZARUDDIN? on the cover of Tempo Magazine 
The method used is Descriptive Qualitative, and the corpus in Tempo Magazine Cover 
Edition 22th to 28th August 2011 is limited to the illustration, writing the title of 
"SEKONGKOL KAKAP NAZARUDDIN" contained in the corpus and then dianalasis semiotic 
approach of Charles Sanders Pierce (sign, object, interpretan ) where the object is divided into 
icons, indexes, symbols. 
The results indicate that the message conveyed through the depiction of these caricatures 
is the practice or attempted reversal player facts of the case law of M. Nazaruddin.}
