		abstract={The Sovia Cinema, which boasts art deco architecture, operated as a cinema from 1970 to the 2000s but has since been inactive. With no modern cinemas in Bukittinggi City, revitalizing the Sovia Cinema as a contemporary cinema could preserve the city's new entertainment facilities and historic buildings. Qualitative research was used to design and implement this modernization project.
