		abstract={Hypothermia is a normal baby temperature baby of 36.5 - 37.5° Hypothermia is divided into three types : mild hypothermia/ cold stress, moderate hypothermia and severe hypothermia. 
Cold stress restriction is 35.5 - 36.4°C, moderate hypothermia is 32 - 35.4 C and severe hypothermia is 32°C. This scientific paper is aimed at implementing the Management of Newborn  Midwifery Care on Mrs. "S"'s baby with moderate hypothermia at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Regional Hospital in 2017 in accordance with 7 Varney steps and SOAP. The results from a case study conducted on the baby of Mrs. "S" with moderate hypothermia, found no hindrances at the time of treatment of this case. The management performed on Mrs. "S" 's baby namely applying kangaroo method of care carried out based on SOP, observing the vital signs, treating under infant warmer, providing counseling on exclusive  breastfeeding and signs of danger to Birth Weight, infection prevention and cord care. The conclusion of the case that is 7 Varney steps and SOAP used for the process of 
obstetrics problem solving have been conducted assessment and data analysis on the baby of Mrs. "S" with Moderate Hypothermia at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Regional Hospital  in 2017 for 2 days. The result are the infant body temperature becomes normal with the treatment of 
kangaroo method, normal vital signs, no signs of infection, the mother always gives milk on demand.}
