		abstract={This  study  aimed  to  know  how  is  the  quality  of  online  instructional  English 
language  teaching  material  of  descriptive  text  at  seventh  grade  used  by  English 
language  teacher  in  MTs  Negeri  Tanjungpinang  during  pandemic.  Descriptive 
qualitative  is  a  research  design  for  this  research.  An  object  of  this  research  is 
descriptive  text  at  seventh  grade  in  MTs  Negeri  Tanjungpinang.  The  setting  of 
place  of  this  research  is  at  MTs  Negeri  Tanjungpinang.  The  instruments  for 
collecting  data  are  documentation  and  checklist.  There  are  7  indicators  of 
Tomlinson?s  theory.  The  seven  indicators  are  novelty,  attractive  presentation, 
appealing content,  the material is in accordance basic competency, the material is 
in accordance learning goals,  the material is about descriptive text,  and the  lesson 
plan  is  in  accordance  to  the  syllabus.  The  result  of  the  total  score  is  80  and  it 
shows the material is good criteria in English language teaching material}
