		abstract={This study is aimed to analysis of students? reading comprehension skill of report text at SMP Negeri 2 Bintan. The Method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The instrument in this data collection is reading comprehension test of report text. The subject of this study were ninth grade students? of SMP Negeri 2 Bintan. The result  of this research is to show how students? reading comprehension skill. To find out how the students? reading comprehension, the researcher used assesment of reading comprehension based on Brown, which meant identifying main idea, supporting details, vocabulary, grammatical features, and implied details. Then, researcher calculted the mean score of the class. The average score was 75. The result of the mean score of students reading comprehension on report text was 75. Overall, students reading comprehension of report text at SMP Negeri 2 bintan was good.}
