		abstract={This study aimed to found out how much students at SMA N 2 Tanjungpinang agreed that they
often watched authentic English videos and whether it had an effect on their listening skills. The
subjects in this studied was students of class x. 1 SMA N 2 Tanjungpinang totaling 32 students. This
typed of researched was a surveyed method. Researchers also used descriptive quantitative
techniques. Questionnaire sheets was used in this studied to collected data. The purpose of this
surveyed was to collected information about the used of real movies as listening exercises for
students. The results showed that this studied received a good response from students. Based on the
data in the table of 15 questions from the questionnaire, it could been seen from the presentation of
the variable watching authentic English videos in training students' listening skills as a whole of 76.
76% which was classified in the very good category (very interested), this meant that answering the
questions studied in class x students of SMA N 2 Tanjungpinang was classified as very interested in
authentic English videos and very good at improving students' listening skills and could answered
questions in this study.
