It combines qualitative and quantitative methods to effectively investigate complex issues. The study focused on students of Grade XI.D2 in SMAN 2 Tanjungpinang. The research investigates the role of English songs in increasing students' motivation to learn English. Data collection involved distributing questionnaires to 40 students and conducting interviews with 10 students. The research instruments included closed-ended questionnaires for structured responses and interviews for more in-depth insights. Qualitative data were analyzed using the steps of data collection, reduction, display, and inference as outlined by Huberman and Miles (1994). Quantitative data were summarized descriptively using statistical tools to present key findings. This integrated approach provided a comprehensive understanding of the impact of English songs on student motivation.} }
