This article guarantees consumers' rights to comfort, security, and clear information about the goods or services they purchase. Imposing additional charges without transparent notification can harm consumers and violate their right to accurate information. Bank Indonesia regulations, particularly Article 52 of Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 23/6/PBI/2021, prohibit businesses from imposing extra fees on QRIS transactions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of consumer protection in QRIS transactions at supermarkets in Air Raja Subdistrict, Tanjungpinang City, and to examine the role of supervision by authorities, including Bank Indonesia, in ensuring business compliance with existing regulations. This research uses a normative-empirical legal approach, combining legal theory and field practices. The findings reveal inconsistencies between Bank Indonesia's regulations on additional charges and the practices in supermarkets in Air Raja Subdistrict, where such charges are still imposed on consumers. This issue arises due to a lack of socialization, education, and effective supervision by relevant authorities. Further evaluation and action are necessary to ensure proper regulation enforcement and the protection of consumer rights Keywords: Consumer Protection, QRIS, Transactions, Additional Charges, Businessmen} }
