DBD is a potentially outbreaks disease. It is listed in the "Permenkes RI No. 1501/Menkes/X/2010 on certain types of infectious diseases that could cause plague and countermeasures". According to the World Health Organization (WHO) "Indonesia is the 2nd country with the largest Dengue fever (DBD) Case among 30 countries endemic to DBD". In the year 2017 the number of cases of DBD in Indonesia as many as 68,407 cases. The province with the highest number of cases occurred in West Java with a total of 10,016 cases, while the death of DBD amounted to 439 deaths. (Infodatin, 2017). Objective: To know the effectiveness of vegetable larvacide extract fruit pare against the death of the larva Aedes aegypti instar III and know the best concentration on the death of the larvae Aedes aegypti instar III. Type of research: pure experimentation (True Experimental) uses post test only control design design. The concentrations used were 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% with 5 replication. 24 hour observation time. The data processing technique of One-Way Anova is followed by a post-hoc test of LSD (Least Significance Difference) of statistical test results There is a significant difference in the death of Aedes aegypti instar III larva in each treatment. The LC50 is 1,538% and LC90 is 2,561%. Conclusion: The research results show pare fruit extract effectively as a vegetable lavasida against the death of the larva Aedes aegypti instar III and the best concentration of 4%. Suggestion: For researchers then extract pare fruit can be made in powder form. For the health office and the Community need to cooperate to create vegetable larvacids pare fruit extract.
