The hydrolysis process uses a chemical method with the help of H2SO4 catalyst. This process aims to change the cellulose content in rice husks into glucose through three types of processes, namely chemical delignification using alkali, followed by an acid hydrolysis process using sulfuric acid to convert cellulose into glucose. After that glucose is formed, the process will proceed to the oxidation process with the help of a V2O5 catalyst. This process aims to convert the glucose into the desired oxalic acid product. The oxalic acid manufacturing plant requires 39.5221 kW of electricity and 854,614.45 m3 of water per hour. The number of workers needed is 88. The area required for the construction of this factory is 2.5 hectares and is located on Jalan Marunda Makmur, Segara Makmur Village, Tarumajaya, Bekasi, West Java. The value of TCI at this oxalic acid factory is IDR 2,831,993,253,857. This factory is feasible to build because the ROI proportion in this industry is 72%.Some of the parameters above and the profitability calculations that we have made have given us an NVP value of IDR 7,819,365,489,451 because the NVP value is > 0 and is positive, so this factory is feasible to build.
