		abstract={The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership and personal value to the commitment of the profession and its impact on teacher performance SMA Negeri Surabaya derby. The population in this study were all teachers at twenty two State High School Surabaya. Hypothesis testing 
using the structural model analysis techniques (SEM analysis) by means of SPSS (Statistical package for social science) and AMOS (Analysis of Moment structure). 
           The results based on the results of tests of hypotheses and test models of significant  value  (probability)  shows  transformational  leadership  significantly influence the profession's commitment. Transformational leadership significantly 
influence the performance of teachers. Personal value significantly influence the profession's commitment. Personal value significantly influence the performance of teachers. The commitment of the profession significant effect on the performance of teachers. 
          It is suggested to further research to examine the variables that affect the commitment  of  the  profession  and  improve  the  quality  of  teacher  performance leadership style in order to achieve maximum results of the study.
