		abstract={ABSTRACT This study analyze the movie directed by Tom Hooper entitled The Danish Girl. This movie discusses the first transgender person to perform genital surgery named Einar, he has another name, namely as Lili. This started when his wife asked Einar to become a model for his painting because the female model cannot come, since that day Einar felt comfortable when his wife dressed him like a woman and ordered him to possess feminism which this will influence Einar personality development as well. This study has two research objective, the first will describing Einar personality development and the second will explain the factors which influence Einar personality development in The Danish Girl movie 2015. The primary source used for this study was The Danish Girl movie itself and for the secondary source were taken from books on the theory of characterization by M.J Murphy and theory of personality by Elizabeth B. Hurlock. The results of this study divided into two parts, first Einar?s personality before and after the development using theory of characterization by Murphy from being pessimist, introvert and inexpressive into optimist, extrovert and expressive. Second results is the factors influencing Einar?s personality development are family determinant, emotion determinant and the last sex determinant.}
