		abstract={This recearsh is to find out the role of the processing industry sector on economic growth in dumai city. It can be concluded from the culculations results that the manufacturing sector has a very large positive impact on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Dumai city with as average of 54.82%. the manufacturing industry sector has increased each year from the period 2010-2018. Thus thr role of the manufacturing industry sector on economic growth in Dumai city has a very positive impact and can increase the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the manufacturing industry sector.}
