		abstract={ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the formation of adolescent self-concept in Javanese Muslim family which is Muslim. There were two informants in this study, one male and one female who experienced adolescent self-concept formation. The approach used in this research is qualitative phenomenology with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results showed that the first subject experienced a good self-concept, had a positive outlook, good emotional stability, good learning achievement, and a good social environment. The first subject has parents who are complete, Muslim and very close to the family, getting support from the family. The second subject experienced a fairly good self-concept, but had a negative outlook, poor emotional stability, poor learning achievement, and a bad social environment. The second subject has parents who are complete, Muslim, the second subject is not too close to the family because the second subject made the mistake of getting a bad grade, the second subject often went out at night and did not attend school because the subject's parents were disappointed and lost communication, but the second subject wants to correct his mistakes and the second subject shows a better change in a positive direction.}
