		abstract={Marriage is a spiritual bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy and everlasting family (household) based on the Belief in the one supreme God. Some married couples became informants in this study with the age  of m arriage 4 - 8 years. This study aims to determine the description ofmarital satisfaction among couples without children. This research involved 2 wives  with different marriage ages. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. An alysis of the data used is coding. The results of research from both informants are able to develop aspects of marital satisfaction with various  processes  that  were  passed and always grateful for the life they have. The first informant felt marital satisfa ction in the aspects  of  communication,  leisure activities, religious  orientation, financial management,  sexual  intimacy,  personality issues, and conflict settlement. Whereas the second informant felt marital satisfaction in the aspects of communication, re ligious  orientation, conflict settlement, financial management, sexual intimacy, family  and  friends, personality issues, and role equality.}
