abstract={This research the author did in the district of Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru. With regard to this research the object method is tofu industry entrepreneurs. The problems discussed in this study are whether the application of accounting by tofu industry entrepreneurs in the sub-district of Tenbaru Raya Kota Pekanbaru has fulfilled the basic concepts of accounting.
The purpose of this study is to find out the application of accounting conducted by tofu industry entrepreneurs has fulfilled the basic accounting concepts in running their business. Data collected primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection that the author needs for this writing material is interview structure, documentation, and observation.While the data analysis used is descriptive method.
In general, tofu businesses in the district of Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru, Pekanbaru City. In carrying out its business, it has used cash receipts and expenditure books, but the application of accounting to tofu industry businesses is not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts in running a business. This is because entrepreneurs know that they have not separated personal expenses from business expenses.}
