		abstract={This research on the application of accounting was carried out in the Siak Hulu Sub-district, Kampar Regency in the chicken business totaling 18. The problem in this study is whether the chicken entrepreneurs have applied the basic accounting concepts in recording their business books. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of accounting in the broiler business in Siak Hulu Sub-distict, Kampar Regency was in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The data used are primary data, obtained through structured interviews, distributing questionnaires and secondary data obtained directly from respondents such as record books, notes or invoices, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive method. Based on the results of the research that the author has done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the broiler business in the Siak Hulu Sub-district, Kampar Regency is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.}
