		abstract={This study aims to obtain an overview of self confidence (confidence) in  mathematics learning. Method used is a survey method. This research was conducted at Pekanbaru N 7 High School in the month November 2018. The subjects of the study were 120 students of class X (ten) Pekanbaru Senior High School 7 which consists of 51 male students and 69 female students. The parameters measured are self confidence (confidence) students in class X SMA N 7 mathematics learning Pekanbaru. The results showed that male students' self confidence with the number of students as many as 51 students with a percentage of 63.6% while for female self confidence with the number of students as many as 69 female students showed a percentage of 63.1%. Then overall percentage of students in class X SMA N 7 Pekanbaru is 63.3% with strong categories.}
