		abstract={The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of explosive power of arm muscles to upper service ability in volleyball extracurricular students at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This type of research is correlation, which is one of the techniques in statistics that is used to calculate the level of relationships of several different variables. The population in this study were volleyball extracurricular students at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, amounting to 18 people. The sample used was 18 people. The data analysis technique used is the r test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained it can be concluded that there is a contribution of arm muscle power to the ability to service the volleyball volleyball extracurricular students at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru by 37.95% with r count = 0.616> r table = 0.468.}
